No. Payment collection is handled through Stripe-hosted flows. TutorPax stores the provider references and business state needed for checkout, reconciliation, and entitlement.
Does TutorPax choose the price sent by the browser?
No. Trusted course and plan prices are resolved server-side. Monetary values are handled as integer minor units rather than floats.
When does a student receive course access?
Access follows server-verified payment and the corresponding course entitlement. A browser redirect by itself is not treated as proof of payment.
Are Stripe fees included in TutorPax pricing?
No. Starter and Pro are TutorPax platform subscriptions. Stripe processing and connected-account fees are governed by the tutor’s current Stripe arrangement.
Can a tutor manage the TutorPax plan separately?
Yes. TutorPax subscription checkout and the customer billing portal are separate from the connected student-payment flow.
